Show Camp Floyd District. Mr. S. D. Sirrine, who has been successfully prospecting pros-pecting in the Camp Floyd district for a couple of weeks, called in yesterday, showed us some specimens of milling rock, and left a pretty piece of felspar. The district was organized before the Ophir, with which it has been latterly connected, but on last Saturday week a meeting of miners was hold, and it was set oft by it.-elt". Numerous ledges are being struck of milling ores, principally silver. Several caves have also been discovered, glittering with stalactites. The prospect is good for the district. |
