Show CONCERT AT SPRIXGV1LLE. Sprinoville, March 2S, 1871. Editors Herald. There was a concert held last evening even-ing in this place, under the able supervision su-pervision of Prof. Weight, the chorister, choris-ter, whica was a "brilliant affair." The citizens here had no idea of the musical ability of our home talent, and were unprepared for such a treat. They were joined by our musical friends H. Maiben, and Mr. and Mrs. Bees of Provo, the former of whom, kept the audience in a roar by his peculiar comicalities, comi-calities, and the latter were highly applauded ap-plauded for the very able manner in which they rendered their pieces. On the whole it was a great success and pronounced superior to anything musical, musi-cal, ever before held in this locality. I am keeping you posted by telegraph of all important matters, as you will perceive by the telegrams recently sent. Yours, C. D. Evaxs. |
