He was carried to the station, where Alderman Al-derman Hcrrick brought surgeons to see if anything could be done, but it was useless; he died three hours after. He had with him a whisky bottle nearly empty, whioh had been full when he left this city; and the Indians very sagely concluded that whisky killed kill-ed him. |
