| Show DIES WITHOUT WARNING thomas hennett bennett a former resident of davis county dies at downey thomas bennett a former resident of kaysville Kays ville died at his home in downey about 4 thursday morning of last week he ate his supper and went to bed about 9 apparently as well as ever about eleven he awoke with a severe pain in the lower part of his breast after taking t some warm drink the pain ceased and he went to bed again and slept until about a quarter to four when the pain came back ile he got up a again aiu and went into the kitchen soon he felt easier not lon long after his wife heard a peculiar noise and went into the room where ho he was and found he had fallen forward out of the rocking chair onto to the stove hearth she lifted him back into the chair tile the best she could then ran to her son johns homo home which was about a quarter of a mile away y when they reached the house he had passed away deceased was born in lancashire england C sixty seven sevell years ago tho the ath of last january jannary his parents had bad previously joined the church of jesus christ of latter day saints and when he was only about two years old the family e migrated emigrated to A merica america they crossed the plains to come to utah in 1852 and settled in kaysville raysville Kays Rays ville the family lived in kaysville Kays villa ville until 1889 when they started for canada but located at camas meadows in idaho where they lived five years then the family moved to marsh valley whore where they have lived since in 1862 1662 lie ho married maria driggs of kaysville Kays ville beven E evon children were born to them eight of whom are living they have twenty b ildron and one great grandchild helas he was a high priest at th time of his is demise and abst sunday school superintendent of the north cambridge sunday school funeral services were held at downey sa saturday burday gt at 11 a m and in kaysville Kays ville sunday at 2 rpm pm 1 deceased was a blacksmith by trade but could do most any kind of work he was also an old time violin player his children are all grown and married three sons and a daughter live in iii downey one daughter daughter in layton and a gon son an and d dau daughter liter north of preston |
