| Show AT KAMAS Major Coffey and Messrs duff and Ivimlmll Speak KAMAS Oct 2DTheretawas a big Democratic meeting held here last evening and the enthusiasm was intense in-tense It was so great indeed as to deprive John M Zane of his usual gall and the Republican orator changed his dates he having been billed to speak here this evening Major Coffey delivered one of his sledgehammer speeches in which the fallacies of the Republican speakers who had preceded him during the present compaign were clearly shown up while W H Cluff and Bert Kimball Kim-ball who happened > to be in town but had not been billed to speak also added add-ed great enthusiasm to the evening Even Republicans like Tom Cupit were heard to say that the meeting was the most enthusiastic held in Ka mas this year Kamas last year gave Cannon 77 Rawlins 69 and Gaut Populist Pop-ulist 2 but there seems to be no reason rea-son why the majority should not be changed this year |
