held july and and august and alid 2nd were read and approved the dan dangerous erous condition of the wagon road between the hot springs and salt lake city was discussed and the following 0 resolution iva was passed whereas numerous and frequent complaints have been made by residents of davis county to this court in regard to the condition of the county road from the hot springs south to salt lake city and within the corporate limit of salt lake cit city Y and whereas tile committee appointed by this court to examine into said matter have reported that owing to the excava excavations eions beda being M made for the gravity sewer along and over said road it is dangerous for the public travel over and along the same where said work is being pe reformed formed and is especially so at night there being ta no lights of any kill kind to enable persons persona traveling along said load to avoid rough arid and dangerous places and in consequence accidents to persons and property have occurred and are still liable to occur and aland whereas this court is of tile the opinion the complaints are well founded and that something 0 should be done for the protection of the traveling public of davis county who are compelled in order to reach a market for their produce and for obtaining supplies to use and travel said roads it is therefore resolved that the mayor and city council of salt lake city be and they are arc hereby respectfully fully requited to take immedi the action in the matter arid and cause said road to be made safe and passable arid and that tile the order forthwith at proper intervals electric or oth other er lights so that accidents to persons traveling along and over said aid road in the night 0 might be avoided and it is further ordered that the
