Show In the TwentySecond Ward I A splendid musical and dramatic entertainment was given at the Twentysecond ward gven on Friday afternoon and evening At the latter I performance there was a large audience audi-ence and the efforts of the performers were thoroughly appreciated It tfas I wer apprecated a well arranged programme which proceeded II I pro-ceeded the farce Mr Sam Spry was in good voice and was well received I as r also the other soloists the scarf drill and tableaux were especially especial-ly pretty and agreeably surprised all presnt The most laughable of laughable laugh-able farces le on Pre Francais was very well played and went with vim and force that took the audience by storm The Y L M I A can score a big success on their role of amusements and should feel well satisfied I satis-fied from an artistic and financial I point I Especial thanks are extended to the Coalter Snelgrove company for the use of their beautifully toned piano I I which was used by soloists and to accompany ac-company those who sang Their knid I ness is appreciated as they alone proffered its use Oharley Johnsons V T R ushers kept the audiences busy reading during dur-ing waits |
