OCR Text	Show Viking Band Slates Park Concert 16th By PAM JONES Mike Murphy, band director of the Viewmont High Band, invites residents of Davis County to join himself and the band at the Bountiful City Park May 16 at 5 p.m. as families enjoy their own picnic dinner, followed by a band concert presented by the concert and jazz bands. The concert is from 6:30 to 7:30. BAND MEMBERS will also be busy that day at Steve Mitchell's Texaco Station sponsoring an all day car wash to raise money for their new band uniforms. Congratulations go to the band for their superior ratings at the Regional Band Festival and their second place rating at the Utah State Festival. They also rated high at the Mountain States Music Festival Festiv-al held in Tempe, Arizona the end of April.
