The Reverend Jockey Weakens MCSKEGON Mich Sept 12The committee com-mittee appointed by the Methcdist Episcopal Episco-pal conference to investigate Pastor Ar neys horse racing case reported to day Arney quite at variance with his threats confessed to having committed an imprudent impru-dent act when he participated in the horse race and sincerely regretted the notoriety caused by the transaction He kept the horses for his personal pleasure and exercise exer-cise and the possioility of premiums by their sale after being properly trained He added that as long as he is a divine he will never again engage in horso racing The conference accepted the report and Arneys character was allowed to pass
