Show MEMORIAL DAY How it Will be Observed In This City Line of March Those taking part in tho procession on Memorial Me-morial day will form on Second South street west between Main and West Temple streets i wf facing east in the following order Liberal drum corps Department commander and staff mounted James l McKean post G A R on foot Sons of Veterans on foot Womens relief corps in carriages Orator of the day and guests in carriages Citizens in carriages Other organizations reporting will be assigned as-signed to proper position in line I is desirable that the column be in readiness t move at 9 am The line of march north on Main street to First South thence east via Fort Douglas to United States cemetery where the usual prescribed 3 pre-scribed ceremonies will bo performed when command will return to Fort Douglas where tho following programme will be carried out Music by the Sixteenth Infantry band Prayer by post chaplain Rev C L Libby Music by Methodist church choir Original coem by veteran volunteer Music Sixteenth Infantry band Oration by Comrade R S Robertson Music by the choir Following the command will proceed to Mount Olivet where appropriate ceremonies will be performed and the monument just erected to the memory of Comrade George R Maxwell will be dedicated HARleY HAYNES Marshal of the Day |
