All Chicago i Jubilant CHICAGO Feb 24The streets of Chicago Chi-cago this afternoon and evening were the scene of enthusiasm modest but unmistakable unmis-takable in the crowds surrounding the newspaper offices and other places where bulletins are displayed With representatives representa-tives of all classes of society such cordial effusiveness warm handshaking gratified smiles and genuine shouts of joy are not often witnessed anywhere The unanimity of the display was the feature of the occasion occa-sion Usually upon news of this sort or rather news from political conventions and the like there is to be seen the losing side but here all were winners Tonight the toots of horns mingled with booming of cannon and at the clubs hotels and other resorts the coming of the worlds fair to Chicago is being celebrated with vim
