Show i THE TRADES 4KB LABOR BALL The Grand Affair at Emporium Hall Last Evening It is a question of doubt if there has ever been S3en within the walls of tho I Emporium Hall a happier jollier assemblage I semblage than the one which were I I den Nn together fay the It Utah Feberated i Tades and Labor Councl last evening even-ing A moving picture of life and I beauty a flashing brilliant conglomeration i conglomer-ation of happy humanity Whatever I miy be the outcome of the new organization organi-zation this their first public demonstration demon-stration will go on record as an unequivocal un-equivocal success There were about 160 couples presentmore perhaps than ever assembed on a similar occasion The hall was tastefully decorated with the elegant silk embroidered banners ban-ners of the various trade unions embraced em-braced in the organization Osens band furnished the music which was par excellence Elegant programmes wire supplied and a fine selection of dances announced A most interesting feature of the evening was the solo giugmg cf Mr It C Easton and Mr T 0 Crawford to which Evaa Stephens furnished accompaniment At midnight a sumptuous repast was furnished in the dining room of the White House The various committees commit-tees are to De qongratulated on tho complete com-plete success of the whole affair |
