THE ELEVENTH DISTRICT Hon James Sharp called the meeting to order and on motion of Junius F Wells Frederick Culmer was elected chairman David R Allen secretary It was agreed that two delegates from each school district be nominated to the county convention Toe following were chosen Charles S Burton R W Sloan Oliver HodgsonOrson Romney Walter W Williams and James Barton AlternatesB S Young A B Simmons Sim-mons and Thomas Goodman The meeting then proceeded to elect thirteen delegates to the eleventh Representative District Convention four nominations being made from each school district and and James Sharp AlternatesJoseph H Parry R SWells S-Wells David L Murdock Edgar Simmons Sim-mons Thomas Moss and James Barton THIRD PEECINCT Promptly at 8 pm the meeting was called to order by Peter Reid who nominated Hon E A Smith for chairman Nomination seconded and carried unanimously George M Cannon was nominated and elected secretary and Milando Pratt chaplain After prayer by the chap lain tho call of the County Central committee com-mittee for primaries to elect delegates to the coming Convention was read by the secretary On motion it was decided to nominate delegates from the body of the hall and the following nominees were elected Sixteenth WardA S Geddes Peter Howell Eli A Folland Seventeenth WardJoseph S Tingey William B Dougall Nineteenth WardAndrew Kimball John L Nebeker and Joseph E Mullett I Three alternates were chosen William J Newman J C Sandberg and George W Wells The secretary then read the call of the Territorial Central Committee Council Coun-cil and Representative district conventions conven-tions On motion four delegates were selected from each ward of the precinct and two at large with the following result re-sult Sixteenth Ward T E Jeremy Jr H McAllister and William J T Dean On motion two alternates were selected from each Ward Zadoc 0 Mitchell George W Timpson Frank S Tiugey William N Williams William 0 Lee and John L Nebeker Stirring speeches on the political outlook out-look were made by Judge E A Smith John N Pike A E Hyde E A Fol land and Peter Reid On motion the meeting adjourned NINTH narrator The meeting was held in the Ninth Ward Schoolhouse W W Riter was chosed chairman and W Fuller secretary The call for the meeting was read by the secretary W Jack moved that the thirty delegates dele-gates to the Convention be as follows he First and Tenth Bishops Wards have six each the Eighth and Ninth Bishops Wards to have five each the Second and Third Bishops Wards to have four and the residents of those I wards to make their own nominations from the body of the house Carried Moved and carried that the house take a caucus for a few minutes to enable the residents of the wards to consult about nominees The following Meeting called to order by Mr B R Eldredge upon whose motion Mr Wm Naylor was elected chairman H G Park was elected secretary Call for the meeting was read showing thirty delegates to be elected to the District Convention and none to the County Convention Mayor Armstrong moved that ten delegates be allotted each bishops ward and that the chair appoint a committee of nine three from each ward as a nominating committee The motion prevailed pre-vailed and the chairman named the following fol-lowing persons Eleventh WardFrancis Armstrong Charles Crow and George foleman Twelfth WardT V Williams
