contrary to the rule of common law The change in the statute stat-ute of limitations in the ulll as it came from the Senate is stricken out and the second section ot the bill relating to attachments against wit nesses Is amended so as to authorize the issue of such attachments only wnere it it necessary as snowu by the oath of two creditable witnesses The section requiring the record of all marriages is retained but tbe fifth section sec-tion wnich authorizes the examination I of prvate records of marriages is stricken out Tbe section prohibiting female suffrage is retained if tact A
