Show MORJIOSS 3IADE TO MOVE II I I Tro Latterday Saints Meet With a Determined Crowd From a gentleman rho has just arrived ar-rived from an extensive trip through northwestern Alabama including St Clair County we learn that the people ot Lincoln that county have just found it cessary to request the removal re-moval of two Mormon elders who were working up that section for converts to their nefarious faith It is thought these are thesamo tro fellows that wre in Fish Creek in Polk County mention men-tion of whose presence was made in the Cuurant at the time They stopped at Lincoln and had engaged board than th-an attache of one of the many saw mills of that section and were really making a little headway with the lower classes Their scheme und motive became known to a few honest men abouttne mills who appointed one of tLeir number num-ber to notify the elders that they would be given ten hours to skip from those parts which notification was duly received re-ceived togethtr with a good everydsy iorruon that was not couched in the most elegant language When the time was up the crowd was organized and ready to rid the country of the pests They aJjourned to thu house where the Mormons stopped but found they had taken advantage ol tire darkness and fleeting time and vamoosed The man that harbored them was however notified that his services were no longer wanted at the mil where he was emS ptoyed Cartervllle Ga Cottrant |
