Show A Mysterious Sliver Jobbery I ST Louis December 25Wben the Kirkwood accommodation train eastbound east-bound on the Missouri Pacific Railroad reached Cheltenham oneof the western suburbs of this city last evening seven bars of silver were put into the Pacific Express Companys car attached to the train but when the express matter was taken from the car some time after the train arrived here only five bars could be found and the missing silver bas not yet turned up There is ro doubt but that the car was robbed while it was standing in the Union Depot yards but there is no clue to the robbers The silver was shipped byatbe 5t Louts Smelting k Refining Company Com-pany and was consigned to the Third National Bank Philadelphia The bars weighed about seventy pounds and were valued at 2OOO |
