Show I Theatre fc This evening the Hasenwinkle j I troupe will make its hist appearance appear-ance in thiz city in that excellent piece the Celebrated Case It performed per-formed the play at Ogden on Tuesday Tues-day evening and tke Ogdem Herald makes the following comments A moderately large audience was present in the Union Opera House last evening to witness the Hasen I winkle troupe in this excellent play The plot is good and the finest effect was given to the piece by the company com-pany Miss Tillie Stephany as Madeline Made-line in theprologue and as Adrieane in the play excites the strongest sympathy of the audience Miss May McGaw as the child witness did well in her part for one so young on the stage Miss Ella Salisbury though making a fine appearance ap-pearance seemed to be too nervus and quick in parts where calm womanly dignity would have made a happier impression upon the audience audi-ence Mr Fredrick Julian as the murderer and bogus Count DeMor nay did so well that everybody learned to hat6 him > which was a decided de-cided hit on his part Mr Hasen winkle sustained the good reputation reputa-tion that he has gained with the the atregoers of Ogden in his excellent personation of Jean Reuaud the innocent in-nocent convict AS a whole the company is a good oneamong the best that have visited this city The wardrobes of the company are spoken of as being rich and magnificent and they have played together so long that were they even a poorer company they would still ensure a good performance but with the reputation now enjoyed they will play well The indications are favorable to a good house V Reserved seats can be secured at the boxoffice today without extra charge Co |
