that are now being published is one I charging that Singiser proposed to lease from Curtis Estes certain quartz mines it being understood that Estes and Sing I iser were to share equally the proceeds i r from working the property that Singiser II drew up the lease and read it to Estes as l if it were drawu in accordance with the Terbal agreement 1 tbut that afterwards Estes learned that Singiser had deceived him the lease as signed placing everything every-thing in the candidates hands and authorizing l him iJto appropriate to his own use all the proceeds derived from working said mines and election but to keeping down the majority against him Honest John Haileys campaign has been brave honest and manly The effort to make him shoulder shoul-der the Mormon question was defeated de-feated at the outset He went before the people with a promise to work to the best of his ability for the interests of Idaho regardless of sect or creed and as people knew that his promise meant something and was therefore unlike Sing ers they have been rallying rally-ing around him by hundreds It would have been a lasting disgrace upon Idaho to elect Singiser in the face of the ugly record that he has made for himself hence it is matter for congratulation that our neighbor Territory has fairly resolved emphatically repudiate the corruptionist next Tuesday |
