required to maintain and develop some mining properties itis stated that 4000000 has been expended on the Anaconda mine and properties in Montana The mine is owned by J H Haggin and George Hearst It or-der and that the concentrating mill which has been doing some experimental experi-mental running for the past few days promises to fulfill all expectations The tramway is working finely Mr Brown says that despite the vast quantities of ore which have been taken out of the Cresent siuce his last visit the property really looks better than ever so many new ore bodies have been opened up in the working The Michigan Mich-igan stockholders are in the city in readiness for the annual meeting which convenes tomorrow morning at 10 oclock A meeting of the directors was held last evening at which
