Show Y M M I AWe A-We would be pleased to have the Young Mens Mutual Improvement Associations of Salt Lake Citv make I a note of and adopt the following suggestions That they recommence the s stem s-tem of sending visitors from one association to another with the week commencing Nov 13th That they send the visitors in the reverse direction to that heretofore pursued that is the First Ward sending to the Twentyfirst the latter lat-ter to the Twentieth and so on That every association pursue this system with diligence sending out two visitors at a time and neither nei-ther ndssing an association nor a week That they report to us as soon as possible the result of their reorganization reorgan-ization and the time of holding their meetings that we may have a list of the same published for the benefit of visitors That all associations commence the operations of the season with a determination to improve to carryout carry-out the instructions given by the general supenntendency and to discard as far as practicable from theIr exercises all that is frivolous and unprofitable replacing the same with that whish will instruct elevate ele-vate and refine That good wise persons be placed upon the programme committees who will take a lively interest in their duties That strict records bekept of the membership attendance numberof visitors sent and received number of testimonies borne in meetings number of chapters read by members mem-bers not only in meetings but elsewhere else-where etc as called for in blank reports re-ports which have been furnished 1Ve also wish the country associations associ-ations to adopt these suggestions so far as applicable to them They should send visitors in same circuit as directed last winter Jos H FELT GEO C LAMBERT Stake Supts Salt Lake City Nov 71SS1 |
