Show Grand Childrens Ball On Thursday afternoon the 15th inst there will be a grand ball at the Theatre for children It is to be given by the Unity Club the proceeds to go to the Deseret Hospital Hos-pital A public invitation will be given to all children to attend and snjoy themselves and there is no I question that it will be one of the most delightful events that has ever taken place in the city or any where for that matter The doors of the Theatre will be opened at 2 oclock and the grand march commence com-mence at 230 oclock The party will keep up until 9 with an intermission for refreshments The price of admission will be 25 cents which will include some small re freshments to be given by the Club to the children Olsens Quadrill Band will furnish the music ana in order that children may not be unguarded parents will be allowed to attend by paying the admission fee of 25 cents and thus take charge of their offspring In view of the probable very general attendancesuch an affair should call out nearly all the children in the city for toey are certain to have a grand time in their own innocent waythe first circle will be reserved for the use of the petite disciples of terpsichore and their attendants but the second circle will be thrown open to spectators and the nominal i fee of 25 cents admission is all that will be asked The affair will be conducted so as to produce the greatest enjoyment for the children and the committee commit-tee will spare no means to make it a success in everyway and avoid any unpleasantness Thus while the invitation to be present is extended I ex-tended to all the committee desire it understood that the right is reserved re-served to admit or refuse admittance admit-tance according to their discretion this right however to be exercised only as a matter of protection to those whose children do attend |
