Show Decoration Ball The ball given at Jennings Hall by the Good Templars on Monday night was one of the most enjoyable affairs of the season the time for the grand march had hardly arrived ar-rived when about 100 couples had presented themselves to take part in the gay festivities of the evening What made the affair especially pleasant was the fact that all were made acquainted in the fore part of the evening This is the first ball given by the Good Templers of this city and the ladies of the society deserve credit for the pleasant and agreeable manner in which they conducted the affair I was in the vee small hours of the morning when the Last strain of Home Sweet Home echoed through the hal |
