Show The Free Stabling SALT LAKE CITY April 7 84 Sditcrs Herald I read your Answer to a South Cottonwood correspondent7 in Sundays Sun-days issue and want space to say that it is the opinion of many persons per-sons that the free stabling around the Temple Block particularly at Conference times is a necessity ergo necessity knows no law There is no public square or inC in-C osed yard In that vicinity large enough to accommodate the teams at such times Hence our country visitors use the public streers and I cannot blame them under tha circumstances cir-cumstances and thor fore I d > not censure Marshal Phillips or his aids for not taking cognizance of the direliction But I do think it is the duty of the city council to instruct the street supervisor to either clean up around the four sides of the Temple block or see that it is done by the church bands immediately It certainly Is a lasting disgrace to allow that vicinity to remain befouled with litter hay and barnyard refuse for months togetner until it rots and bEComes perfectly nauseous as it has done heretofore Now please insert this in Wednesday mornings 1 paper and possibly it may catch the attention of Mayor James Sharp and have the cleaningup done promptly Yours CLEANLINESS |
