Show e AN EXCHANGE complains that out of 9000 bills that have been introduced in thepresent Congress only two have become law It con demnsCongress for not doing more This view of tha matter is entirely wrong Congress should be praised for possessing the sense and good judgment to kill so many of the bills that sro presented for its endorsement en-dorsement The country is not suffering half so much from a want of laws as from too many laws If past Congresses had killed 8993 of every 9000 bills introduced it might have been better f9r everybody and especially for the Congressmen themselves I |
