Show Five Applauses The HERALD has referred often recently to the scenery being painted by Henry C Tryon for Mr Barretts engagement that no little interest has been manifested by the public That all the HERALD promised is already realized in the two performances so far given is beyond question and to show how deeply Mr Tryons labor is appreciated appre-ciated here it is but needful to state that his scenes were five times applauded ap-plauded last night the rise oC the curtain in each act being a cue for applause by the audience i but the artist states that it is tonight he will take a little pride in the special work he has done and referred re-ferred to last nights as only of indifferent in-different excellence We shall see what he calls good when that is but indifferent |
