| Show BY LIGHTNING Continuation of the Bojnton Kcifcr Investigation Parson i cll man s Case Jfegro Nomination Nom-ination Dynamite Mexican Mexi-can Railway RailwayBoyntonKeifer BoyntonKeifer Washington 11 Secretary Fol ger appeared before the heifer > Boynton committee this morning bearing several papers on file in hIs department touching the characer of Charles S Garfield and W B Moore who are expected to be called as witnesses As the papers were original ones and as the present pres-ent was the proper time to submit them as evidence it was agreed if I General Boynton should desire to obtain them cones could be procured from the department hereafter here-after afterW W H Painter journalist wao the first witness xamined His testimony testi-mony rely ed to the meeting of correspondents cor-respondents at which a resolution of censure of Breaker Keifer was adopted Keifer being called contradicted the statement made by Boynton that on March 1st 1883 he had a conversation with Boynton in regard re-gard to the appointment of Jorgen son as receiver of the land office at Walla Walla iveirer was further examined and denied the sworn statement made by Barrett of the Boston Aiver User that he Keifer had sad I dont care b Gd dn for the press He had used no expression in co demnation of the press and had no reason for doing it |
