Show Call Camp DUP Meets The Mary Flint Call Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Friday at the home of Mrs. Bertha L. Muir. A picnic luncheon prepared by camp members was served at 1 p.m. THERE WERE fifteen members present and two county officers, Mrs. Harriet Vance and Mrs. Helen Sanderson. Sander-son. Captain Wilda Bluemel conducted the meeting and welcomed the special guests. Estrella Moore gave the invocation in-vocation and blessing on the food and Clara Bunting led in the flag salute. FOLLOWING luncheon. Captain Bluemel gave the special feature, a happy thought for Mother's Day, written by Dan Valentine. The group sang "Utah Pioneers" and "Grand Old Pioneers" with Carol Hoskel conducting and playing the piano accompaniment. MRS. HASKELL presented pre-sented the lesson for the day, historic markers. Lesson number two was early Utah schools. The incoming captain is Colleen Hales and the retiring captain is Mrs. Bluemel. Both were given a vote of appreciation. OTHER officers are Leda Walker, first vice; Wilda Bluemel, second vice; Shirley ,-Larsen, secretary-treasurer; Gertrude Toone, organist and parliamentarian; Lori Lunt, chaplain; Grace Knighton, historian; Catherine White, registrar, Luciel Loder, keeper of relics; Bertha Muir, publicity; Carol Haskell, chorister and lesson leader. Announcements were made of coming events. Plans were made for delegates to attend the June jubilee. MRS. HASKELL played a short piano concert and all joined in singing. Mrs. Muir served a special treat of homemade candy and gave small boxes of the candy to the county officer, Mrs. Bluemel, in appreciation for her service as captain and to Estrella Moore, who has been ill.
