Show STATE VETERINARIAN TO HAVE VERY BUSY WEEK NEEK Herd of C e Will Be Killed at the State Prison and Sheep Will WillBe WillBe WillBe Be Inspected Dr A C Young state veterinarian ex expects expects expects to be kept quite busy during the week attending to the many duties which have havo come to him in his department in inthe Inthe inthe the way of inspections and other othor work One of the duties he will have will be to dispose of ot the herd of cattle at the tha state prison which was found to be Infected with tuberculosis when examined by one of the government Inspectors and Dr Young during the last week There are cattle to be killed nearly the entire herd at the prison and the work will be done early this week Dr Young with the aid of the assist assistants assistants assistants ants whom he has been able to obtain will continue his inspections of the sheep in the various districts district as rapidly as he be behas has the opportunity Ike He tie has to make a trip to the Deep Creek reek country as soon AS possible to look Into some reports of Infection among animals which have come from that neighborhood Good use has bas been made of the funds which were received by the Utah Wool Growers association from sheep men of ot the state for tor the purpose of ot fighting the lip and leg disease among the sheep and C B Stewart secretary of the association association tion says conditions are reported to be improved The same kind of ot reports have come to Dr Young on the conditions through the state |
