I. 'Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Utah Transit Authority Au-thority at the South Salt Lake City Council Room, 2500 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 12, 1980, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving comments and questions regarding re-garding the proposed service changes. II. The proposed changes in service are generally described de-scribed as follows: A. Winter Canyon Service Ser-vice to Big and Little Cot- ' tonwood Canyons;- Proposed Prop-osed changes include cancellation can-cellation of ski routes No. 97 94th South and No. 99 Riverton, and the rescheduling resche-duling of service on all other ski routes. B. Service Improvements Improve-ments on Route No. 34 West Reams: It is proposed that the route be extended to the area of 6000 West and 5400 South to provide service ser-vice to Copper City residents resi-dents and that the bus be rerouted off of 4620 West on to 4420 West between 4715 South and 5400 South. Frequency of service will remain unchanged. C. Rerouting of No. 35 East Reams: Three sec- j tions of the route are being examined for changes: - 1) Rerouting to give service ser-vice to Decker Lake Indust-rial Indust-rial Park via Redwood Road, 2300 South, 2300 West, and Parkway Boulevard Boule-vard streets. 2) Rerouting of service off of 4420 West onto 4000 West between 4700 South and 5415 South. 3) Extension of the route along 4270 West and 4000 West from 5780 South to 6200 South. There will be no change in frequency of service due to the proposed rerouting. D. Changes in Ogden Route No. 15 Shadow Valley: Val-ley: It is proposed that travel between 32nd Street and 36th Street be moved from Polk Avenue to Harrison Harri-son Boulevard. A public meeting w as held at the Weber We-ber County Library on October 9. 1980, to discuss the rerouting. Additional concerns may be voiced at the herein-scheduled public hearing. III. At the hearing, the Utah Transit Authority will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, so-cial, economic, and environmental environ-mental aspects of the proposed changes. Interested persons may submit orally or in writing evidence and recommendations recommenda-tions with respect to said service ser-vice changes.
