Show Former Resident Dies In Sun City 4. . . HARRY S. HATCH ' Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 30 in Sun City. Calif, for Harrv S. Hatch, who died Nov. 28, "1979 at a local hospital. He and his family moved to California in 1937 where he was affiliated with his father, Fred Hatch, in the Tower Market Grocery business. He worked for Thrifty Mart Markets for 25-years 25-years as supervisor. He retired re-tired in 1963 when they moved to California. HE WAS active in church affairs, serving as ward clerk and other positions until his health failed. He is survived by his wife, Patience; a son Merrill; a daughter Margery; 6 sisters, Grace, Hazel, Elma, Doris, Gertrude and Livera. MR. HATCH was buried in the Veterans National Cemetery Ceme-tery in Riverside, Calif. He was commanding officer, of Utah National Guard Bat- ' tery D in Bountiful for 16 years. He was a long-time resident of Bountiful where they owned a home and where their children were born. He and his wife were active members of the George R. Day American Legion and auxiliary for many years. |
