There is still a lot of picture possibilities available for the adventurous photographer at night. PICTURES made at night using existing light are always effective when done properly. They are even more so when done in color. A city at night is ideal for the beginning photographer. There are so many different types of lights and lighting effects ef-fects available to photograph that it is almost impossible to go wrong. THERE are a couple of items you will need to improve your chances of making successful suc-cessful night pictures. The first is a "fast" film. If you are using color, this would mean a transparency film or a color print film of at least 100 ASA. With the recent introduction of the new color emulsions this is no longer a problem. One transparency film has a speed of 200 ASA while several color negative emulsions now boast an ASA of 400.
