Show Drops Book on His Toe, It Leads Her to Altar London. When Miss Edna Ruth Flack, a history student at King's col-, col-, lege, propped a book on the toe of Dr. John Wesley Bready, American historian, In the British museum reading read-ing room, she did not realize that It was an "overt" act which would lead her to the altar. Miss Flack was so embarrassed over the Incident that Doctor Bready stopped to talk to her about her etudles In an effort to put her at her ease. They met frequently after that until In a little tearoom back of the museum Miss Flack lost her shyness and they discovered they had quite a good deal In common. They were married at the City temple.
