Show BRITISH OFFICER IS BURIED AT ARLINGTON WASHINGTON, Oct. 16. With full military honors, the body of Captain A. A. Mackintosh, assistant military attache at the British embassy, who died recently re-cently from Spanish influenza, was buried today in Arlington National cemetery. Colonel James Lockett attended the services ser-vices as the personal representative of Secretary Baker and American soidlers with British sailors and marines accompanied accom-panied the body to the grave. Captain MacJtlntosb was a son-in-law of the Duke of 1 evonshire. governor-general governor-general of Canada, who was represented fat the funeral by l.ojd Richard Ne-ille. The Puke of Con naught, former gover- nor-genera of Canada, under whom Captain Cap-tain Mackintosh had served, was represented repre-sented by BMgadlcr General C. F. Trotter. |
