Show 13 NEW CASES OF SPANISH "FLU" REPORTED WHEN MT. PLEASANT WAS PRACTICALLY FREE TWO MORE FAMILIES ME QUARANTINED Just as Mount Pleasant was about to be considered free from Spanish Influenza thirteen new cases were reported. These cases, however, are confined to two families. At the home of II r. and Mrs. Ben Staker the entire family of eight members are afflicted with the disease. dis-ease. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ericksen have five now ill at .their home. The little daughter of J. Fred Staker is ill at their home and it is feared it may possibly be Influenza, although it is not known at this time. City Marshal P. A. Poulsen remained re-mained at home the past two days suffering with a cold. Dr. Winters also remained home because he states that he ate too much for Thanksgiving Thanks-giving dinner. Neither the City Marshal Mar-shal or Dr. Winters is expected to have the Influenza, but are only taking tak-ing precautions. " w.s.s. |
