Show INFLUENZA CASES: DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS It was impossible to get accurate statistics from the city board of health with regard to the influenza epidemic today owing to tho fact that yesterday not half of the doctors of tho city had time to report their cases, but frOm what is known of the condition the number of cases Is not on the decrease since Saturday when a pleasurable decrease de-crease was noted. Since last night there have been reported re-ported two deaths in tho city from the efforts of the disease: Barend Dcnkers of 2668 Madison avenue, and Mrs. Fidelia Fi-delia Heller. Leslie Grey Hillstead, 29 years of age, died late Saturday night after a week's illness. He wns the steroo-typer steroo-typer of the Ogdcn Standard. He is survived by his widow, mother, Mrs. J. T. Buckle, and sister, Mrs. R. A. Conham. The latter rcsvlos in Salt Lake. The funeral arangements will be announced later. Charles H. Read, 28 years of ago, died at 9; 45 o'clock Sunday morning of influenza, with pneumonia complications, complica-tions, at tho family home, 1022 Twenty-fourth street. He Is survived by his mother and tho following brothers and sisters: W. J. Mack, San Francisco; Fran-cisco; Arnold. Andrew, Frank and Lo-rino Lo-rino Read of Ogden, and Bowman Read, U. S. Navy school at Harvard university. The funeral arrangoments will be announced later. WInnifred Bessio Wotherspoon, 33 ; years of ago. daughter of Robert and Bessio Morley Wotherspoon, died at 5 , o'clock Sunday morning at the family resident, 2661 Jefferson avenue, of influenza in-fluenza and pneumonia after a week's illness. She Is survived by her parents par-ents and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Grey and Mrs. Ethel Wallace. Funeral notice no-tice later. Mrs. Ray Oshel. 26 years of ago, of Megalh, Wyo., died at 12:30 p. ra. Sunday Sun-day at the home of her mother, Mrs. M. A. Gray, in this city, of Influenza after an illness of a few days. She is survived by her husband, a son, moth-i moth-i or and two sisters. Funeral an-' an-' nouncement later. Suyetro Kawase, 42 years of age, i died at tho Japanese hospital early Sunday morning of pneumonia. The body will be taken to Lewiston, Utah. Funeral services will bo held there Tuesday. oo |
