to elect delegates to the Republican county convention con-vention wore very heavily attended All those who turned out and there were about 1000 of them manifested a keen Interest In the proceedings evidencing I that the Itepubllcans arc fully alive and determined to win this campaign Few OL the delegations chosen last night were Instructed and It Is impossible H1 impos-sible to tell what candidates shewed I I I the most strength The delegates r chosen were Jn the tin good representative I represen-tative Republican men and women I who may be relied upon to select the Ui best available ticket There were warm and Interesting contests In many oC the districts over the selection oC delegates 1 the vIgor with which the rivalry was carried on being another evidence oC I the interest the
