expected that the Crown shaft will have to be sunk 150 fNt > deeper before be-fore the ore body is reached but no doubt Is felt as to its existence When this connection Is made another producer i i pro-ducer will be added to Park Citys i cornucopia of bonanza mines Mayor L Holbrook ai Provo came in yesterday from the Ibex mine in Detroit district bringing with him samples of good looking ore from this promising property which has already i made an enviable reputation in the I II I mining world The best of the ore came from the 280foot level and from all I indications the men are about to break I into a mammoth body of mineral at j this point Manager S F Mount is IIKH at the Ibex superintending the workings and the driving of the long tunnel which Is to cut the formation and facilitate the development of this bonanza producer As soon as this tunnel tun-nel is completed regular ore shipments will be resumed As an Indication of wi the strength of the ledge Mr F lbrook says that a big boulder weighIng at least seven tons has rolled down from the croppings into the gulch below and that frequent tests rom this mass of mineral never gave values less than 12 In gold to the ton |
