I It has not only become a great nnd terrifying menace to the public health but unless checked, it is apt to seriously ser-iously affect the progress of war work in all its various departments. Al-, ready the Shipping Hoard has an-, nounced that ten per cent of its workers work-ers had been affected. The disease has made its greatt progress in the East where it has claimed its victims by the thousands. Reports from other sections, however, how-ever, are equally alarming and ooth civil and military authorities have warned the public to take every precaution pre-caution to prevent its further spread. In many cities schools, churches antl theatres have been closed and public-gatherings public-gatherings of all kinrh forbidden. Medical authorities agree that people peo-ple who ere weak and run down are the earliest victims of the influents epidemic. If you find yourself tired, weak anil losing flesh, or if you .'irv in S generally run down condition, or if yon catch cold easily, this warning should he heeded promptly. You nre realy in great danger, because the germ of this dUease is very cntchin-; and you are apt to fal easy victim if you come in contact with the germ. People who are well and strong are not likely to contract the disease for they are able to throw it off. The common-sense way to keep from tak ing it is to fortify the system against attack by building up the constituti n. ' In other words to uae the old adage "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." And If you are in h sub-normal condition the proper thin-.; i to do is to begin immediately to build -up your powers of resistance. To accomplish ac-complish this, nothing on earth will .strengthen you nnd build you up like Tanlac, the powerful reconstructive tonic, which contains the very elements ele-ments needed by the system to give you fighting strength and ward off the , influenza germ. First of all Tunlac begins it t actiun by creating a good healthy appetite , for wholesome, nourishing food, and assists every organ of the body to per- form its natural functions, thus help-,1 ing to build up health antl strength in the natural way. ' Tanlac is also the ideal strengthen-Ing strengthen-Ing tonic for persons who are suffering from the after effects of influenza, Grippe or Bronchial troubles and hun-I hun-I ttreds of thousands are using It daily with the most gratifying results. In connection With the Tanlac treatment, treat-ment, it is necessary to keep the how-sis how-sis open by taking Tanlac Laxative Tablets, samples of which are included includ-ed with every bottle of Tanlac. It is1 also important that the every day rules of hygiene be observed; that is, I sleep in well ventilated rooms, get plenty of fresh air and exercise and keep away from crowds. Tanlac is sold In Cedar City by the Cedar City Drug Store, and in Paro-I Paro-I wan by the Parowan Drug Company.! -Advertisement. A.
