Show December 1, 1965 The PARSON Page 5 Wool Contest Now Open to W. C. Coeds A walking, talking advertisement of "Amon the fall fashion scene, Miss Sharon Moline of Salt Lake City, Miss Wool of America for 1965, will make a number of appearances throughout Utah following her recent return from her travels to most of the leading cities of the United ericas best" States. The general theme, "The American Way with Wool," is intended to adamantly underscore the fact that America, not Paris, Rome, or some other far away spot, is the source and citadel of great fashion. Miss Moline is announcing the search for Miss Wool of 1966 now under way with a preliminary contest to be held in the Cottonwood Mall In Salt Lake City on December 8. The finals will be televised In color from Hotel Utah on January 6, at which time a new Miss Wool of Utah will be chosen to represent the state in the national pageant to be held next June at San Angelo, Texas. Application forms are now available to those meeting the requirements, and may be obtained from Mrs. Seiffert in Dean of Students office. All candidates In the Miss Wool of Utah contest must: 1. Be between the ages of 18 and 25, inclusive. 2. Be a resident of the State of Utah. 3. Wear a size 10 garment. 4. Be at least 5 feet, 6 Inches tall and not more than 5 feet, 8 inches tall without shoes. 5. Have completed at least one year of activities in an accredited college or university. (If in second semester as freshman, contestant is eligible for participation in the contest.) 6. Be in good health. 7. Agree to model before an audience or street or afternoon dress, an evening dress, and a bathing suit. 8.
