That name is The Parson. However, in the coming issues the seaL of the school will be entered into the word Parson like this: PAR(s)SON. Out of the many names submitted to the class, the ma- jority of those voting decided that this was the most appropriate title, and so it is the new name. to Sditox k t Mr. Sam Taylor " ' Salt Lake City, Utah October 10, 1953 Newspaper Editor Westminster College Working for the Future A Senior Placement has been originated for the senior who wants a job that will go side by side with his major, and help him plan for the future. We would like to thank you and the other alums who talked to us for your concern. The feelings expressed by your letter seem to be those of most of the alums and the students interviewed on our campus that the name of the yearbook should remain Etosian. As far as we on the paper staff are concerned, the name should remain. As we stated before, we would stand behind anything decided upon by the majority of those concerned, and the majority seems to be in favor of Etosian. s i Utahs Favorite Dessert THE CONE WITH THE CURL ON TOP DAIRY QUEEN 1247 South ,11th East 1 1 SUGAR HOUSE Football , Snows Spudnut Shop 1094 EVENTTJL I understand you are seeking a new name for the now deceased Campus Crier. Alumni members like to have a tangible bond with their alma mater such as an enduring yearbook title. The Etosian has grown with our school. It has survived war, peace, prosperity and depression.
