Show Campus Inquirer Senate Lays Foundation For the New Year by Lynctte Rundell Forum staff writer The Senate approved stipends for student executive officers to remain the same as years past, and also approved a budget for the Career Expo at this years first Senate meeting held Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1991, in the Carlcson Conference Center. The Senate also announced it has opened nominations for candidates for Senator in the departments of social sci- ence, pure science, aviation, the board of governance, the curriculum committee and library committee. The new constitution did not state an amount of money that the president and vice president should receive during their son said students should pick up a budget request form from cither Kennedy, Carole Lang, Bruce Bambi Lambert or from the ASWC office and turn in the application to the budget committee. The book will also include memoirs and a section describing the women and the troubles they had as professionals during the period. Paintings will be listed by their titles because many women artists signed their paintings only with their first initial and last name. Harris said many women then were exhibiting their art and getting paid. I was surprised at, one, how many there were and, two, how good they were. She is including models in her book because many male painters of the period tended to marry their models or paint their mistresses. Thus, the same women can be seen in many Victorian paintings. Many of the models were also painters themselves.
