The proposals to change student fees were made because, according to Fitzer, complaints were made by students who felt that fees were too high or that the money goes to events in which they were not involved. According to the Catalog, fees are $40 e for students; $30 for those taking 11 to credit hours; $20 for those with four eight to seven hours; and $10 for those enrolled in one to three credit hours. Westminster students were picked randomly and were asked questions about the College, including questions about AS W C and what should be done with the money accumulated through student fees. According to Fitzer, this survey will be scrutinized by the ASWC Legislative Assembly along with other important issues that account for the recommendation to change the current fee system.
