A candidate must be listed on the official ballot to have their profile included. The elections are Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Syme Lounge, Shaw Center. Dr. Dorothy Reilly, a prominent nursing educator, has been Westminster Colleges distinguished resident on campus this past NOW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK SUNDAY She received the Elizabeth Russell Belford Award for Excellence in Education in 1983, and is listed in Whos Who in Nursing BRUNCH 11 week. Reilly, professor of college nursing and director of the Office of Community Educational Services at Wayne State University in Mich., arrived Sunday and led workshops and classes throughout the week. Reilly has a wide background in workshop leadership, participating in conferences from as far away as Istanbul, Turkey. Reilly has been a professor at Wayne State University since 1973, and has been director of the Office of Community Educational Services since 1974. As professor, Reilly primarily works in the preparation of teachers and curriculum development. As director, she develops continuing education and outreach programs for Wayne State University. A 1943 graduate of Columbia University in nursing, she received a master of science degree from Boston University in Nursing Education in 1950. Kevin Herbert, a sophomore majoring in computer science and math, has decided that it is time for him to get involved in student government As a result, he is running for student body president. Herbert found out through personal experience that a student can get a lot accomplished if he is interested enough. "I got the curriculum committee to change the credit option by writing a proposal to them, he said. Herbert feel s that he is qualified to serve the student body as president because of his past experience with clubs and his current membership in the Legislative Assembly.
