Show 3B MSflootomiGO non family party. Vilate was born Oct. 30, 1905, the eldest of seven children, to Harry and Mary Andersen Petersen on a farm about two miles from Moroni, Utah. Being the eldest, she spent much of her growing up years caring for " Thursday, October 24, the younger children and many hours were spent at the dance hall tending the children while their parents danced. Vilate is a marvelous cook and through the years has tempted and pleased many friends and family members with her delicious meals and treats. On May 26, 1926 she married John Frank Lamb in the Manti LDS Temple. After their marriage they moved to Magna where Frank worked for the A.S. & R. The depression soon took them back to Sanpete where he share cropped. Vilate cared for her two children and cooked for her family and others from the food they grew on the farm. She worked hard on the farm, milking cows, feeding animals and making lard and butter. After the depression they moved back to Magna, where they have lived ever since. Vilate worked in the cafeteria of Eitel McCullough for many years, using her cooking talent. She is an active member of the LDS church and has served in many positions, among them Primary and MIA counselor and president of the Relief Society. She is a dedicated temple worker. She is the mother of two childen: Mary Jean Steed, Magna and Kirt J., West Valley. She has eight grandchildren and ten Missionaries - Mission For Curt Morris Curt W. Morris, son of Craig and Karen Morris, has accepted an LDS mission call to Cantania, Italy. On Sunday, Oct. 27 there will be a farewell meeting to honor him, in the South Jordan 5th ward, 11250 So. at 10:50 am. Curt will enter the training center 2700 West, on Nov. 7th. He is a graduate of Bingham high and of Bingham LDS Seminary. Canadian LDS Mission For Craig Martin An LDS mission to Winnipeg, Canada will be served by Craig N. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman N. Martin, Midvale. There will be a farewell in his honor on Sun., Oct. 27 in the Midvale East 7th ward, 87 E. 7100 South, at 10:45a m. His parents will host an open house on Sunday at 12 p m. at their home, 42 West 6830 South. Craig will enter the training center on Nov. 7th. He is a LDS Mission For K. Schott To Australia For Ted Davis Kristina Schott, daughter of Charles and Karen Schott, has accepted a call to fill an LDS mission in Zurich, Switzerland and will enter the mission training center on Oct. Ted Davis, son of Donald and Myr-n- a Davis, will report to the LDS missionary training center prior to serving in Sidney, Australia. A farewell meeting will be held on Oct. 27th at 2:30 p m. in the Hunter 6th ward, 3930 So 6000 West, West Valley. His parents are inviting friends, relatives and neighbors to join them at an open house following the meeting, from 4 until 7 p m. at 3965 Marsha Dr. Ted is a graduate of Cyprus high. 31.
