One fine for theft and four for driving under the influence were among 118 tickets totaling $5,375 that were processed during the week in Murray Circuit Court. Judge L. H. (Lee) Griffith and traveling judges in the circuit court system presided over courtroom proceedings and handed down fines on a variety of charges. Driving under the influence resulted in a $250 fine and four days in jail for Robert Grow, 2074 Lonsdale; a $250 fine for James Bock, Evanston, Wyo.; a $225 fine for District David Atwood, 5038 Cree; a $200 fine for Duane Duval, 395 E. 3360 South. Floyd Schofield, 1280 6327 So. $150 for East, paid assault and intoxication. Rick Holtman, 135 W. 5275 South, received a $295 fine for driving while on revocation and expired registration. Theft by deception netted a $100 fine and 20 days in jail for Joe Samora, 816 Jackson. Loitering resulted in a $50 fine for Jon Van Wagoner, Price. Assessed $150 fines for reckless driving were Joe Symes, 5986 So. 610 West; Graig Ridgeway, North Salt Lake; Robert Allen, 5666 So. 4580 West; Dale Emerick, 1310 W. 900 South. Driving while on suspension resulted in a $150 fine for Richard Brown, 7205 So. Redwood Road and a $100 fine for James Mitchell, 2872 So. 2910 West. Participation in an accident netted $50 fines for Ann Seely, 4890 So. 1575 West; Mildred Oborn, 5932 LaSalle; James Campbell, Sandy. The same fine was levied against Charles Chance, 765 E. 3155 South, for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and Edward Hayes, 4803 Oak Terrace, for improper lookout. Nell Crump, Bluffdale, paid $45 for following too closely. Paying $25 for failure to stop at a red light were Stephen Davidson, 6128 So. 725 East; Corey Hennefer, Ogden; Carmen Griffith, 4709 So. 3685 West. Failure to stop at a stop sign resulted in a $25 fine for improper lane changes, im- peding traffic, crossing a divided highway, improper turns, driving the wrong street, way on a driving a vehicle without mud flaps and "cutting."
