Surviving are her husband of Layton; one son and two daughters, Shaun Stockhaus, Layton; Mrs. Richard (Joy (Lynn) Peasley, Bountiful ; Miss Diana Lee Stockhaus, Layton; two grandchildren. Mrs. LaVon Forbes Roger-so63, of 2423 W. 5400 S., Roy, died Monday, Nov. 14, 1977 in the McKay-De- e Hospital following a stroke. three sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Flora) Forshaw, Mrs. Leno (Leola) Kaumo, both of Rock Springs; Mrs. Glen (Noreen) Scott, Logan. SHE WAS in Layton, a born Oct. 28, 1914 daughter of John and Margarel Dunn Forbes.' Mrs. Rogerson grew up in Layton and resided here for 34 years. She attended Davis County schools and graduated con- ducted Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary in Ogden. Bishop Glen Budge of the Layton 10th Ward officiated at the service. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schofield and daughter Taryn attended the funeral service in Lake Oswego, Ore. on Nov. 9 for their friend, Mrs. Trudy Waite 51, wife of Bishop Burton Waite. Mr. and Mrs. Schofield spent three days on the trip. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anderson and family were their nephew. Elder Don Reed who just returned from a mission to the Philippines Mission and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Reed of Bountiful. Mrs. Reed is a sister of Mrs. Anderson. Also attending was Mrs. Andersons mother, Mrs. Melinda Weeks of Woods Cross. That evening they were all guests of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Clark where they enjoyed slides of the Philippines. Mr. Clark also served a mission to the Philippines. Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sanders accompanied their son, William Sanders on a four day business trip to Denver, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Campbell have been visiting in San Jose, Calif, with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen are former Kaysville residents. Wash. From Washington they went on to Sacramento, Calif, where they visited with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Coulam and saw their new grandchild, Tom Warren Coulam who was bom Oct. 24. They spent two weeks there before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Buhler and family returned to Logan after spending Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell W. Buhler. They came to attend the farewell testimonial of his brother, Elder Mark Buhler who is leaving on his mission to Australia. Mr. and Mrs. Buhler enter- tained at their dinner for all of the members of their family prior to their son leaving. Mr. and Mrs. Jack McLea and family of Ogden will be holiday Thanksgiving dinner guests of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oram and family. Ward held a High Priest dinner party .Saturday evening for all members and their partners. A program was givfcn by a Samoan group who performed native dances and native musical numbers. The Fruit Heights 1st LDS Ward bishop and mutual leaders took a group of 36 youth on a tour to the Utah State Prison on Tuesday evening where the group met with the prisoners and they held a question and answer session. The group was also treated to dinner at the prison. Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Buchanan accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Clifton N. Memmott to Tempe, Ariz. last weekend where they attended the football game between Arizona and Brigham Young University. They left Thursday and returned Sunday evening. DIXON P. She had served in the Primary, MIA and Sunday School in Rock Springs and Green River, Wyo. and in Layton. She served in the PTA organizations in Green River and at North Layton Jr. High School. She was reared and educated in Rock Springs. She lived in Green River, Wyo. and Sandy, Utah before moving to Layton in 1964.
