The seven pound 11 oz lad 7 at the arrived on August McKay Dee hospital weighing in at seven pounds 11 oz and will be named Troy. Mrs. Hotter was the former Dian Bel nap of Ogden. The grandparents making such a fuss over the new arrival are Dr. and Mrs. Howard Belnap of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Kotter of Brigham City. The greatgrandmother is Mrs. Marvel Silverthom of Ogden. Its a daughter for Mr. and Mrs. Doyle D. Shaw of 75 North 300 West, Kaysville. The new addition arrived on August 13 at the McKay-De- e hospital in Ogden. The mother is the former C. Jean Erickson. CHERYL MILLER MR. AND MRS. ZULON WHITESIDES Wedding Date Set Note Golden Date MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM Mr. and Mrs, Zulan Whitesides celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on Wednesday, August 25th quietly at their home here. The couple reside at 345 Morgan St. Layton. THEY were married on August 25, 1926 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Whitesides was thf former Mae Carver of Clearf- PERKINS Open House William Mr. and Mrs. Richard Perkins of 40 Crestwood Road, Kaysville, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday August 28th. They were married September 13, 1916, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. MR. PERKINS was born in Kaysville a son of Fredrick Richard and Rosa Ann Burton Perkins. Mrs. Perkins was born at Fielding, Utah, a daughter of William Josiah and Lucy A. Robinson. The family moved to Farmington where she was reared. Both have been active in the LDS Church activities. MRS. JAMES L. JAMES Exchange Vows Miss Karla Rhoades exchanged wedding vows on Thursday evening with James L. James, in a ceremony IDS Stake by President J. Duffy Palmer of the Syracuse Utah Stake. This was held at the Relief Society per-torm- room of the Stake Chapel. Rhoades is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Rhoades, of 1522 South 4000 West, Syracuse, and Mr. and Mrs. Alvah L. James of 2269 West 800 North West Point, are parents of the MISS bridegroom. For her marriage and the reception that followed in the cultural hall, the bride chose a gown ot white satin accented w ith a delicate lace trim. It w'as fashioned with a high neckline, empire waist, and full sleees. Her long train was caught to a head dress of satin and lace. ATTENDING the bride was Mrs. Gary Harris and Mrs. Steve Sewell. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Jan Rhoades and Miss Joyce Rhoades sisters of the bride. All of the attendants were gowned in alike models of tiny blue and white checked gingham.
