Weber's final home game will be played on Armistice Day, November 11th against the Branch Agricultural college of Cedar City, Utah. Concluding game for the "wildcats" will occur when they oppose the Carbon college eleven at Price, Utah. Head football coach, Milt Mech-am, stated that prospects for the coming season are good, but added, "In a junior college it is difficult to determine with complete accuracy, the prospects for a coming season's success or failure. Much will depend on whether or not we are able to get replacements for our graduating lettermen. Our line and backfield will both suffer from the loss of graduates but we are expecting seventeen lettermen back and we will build our squad from them. At the present time, our prospects are fair. We should have as good a ball club as we had last year, and with a little help we will have a better one. We will play a nine-game schedule that includes the National Junior college champions from Compton California. Sonny takes in almost all attractive sports in Hawaii including amateur wrestling, football and swimming, however, top his list on enjoyment. He likes singing and most kinds of entertainment. "I am planning to work at the Second Street Depot this summer, and intend to take the entrance examination for Weber college next fall," Sonny said. He also played football for another local team besides the Mick-Alumns. As a guard under the coaching of Tony Morse and Johnny McColgin last year, he had an offer to play pro football for the "Hawaiian warriors" of Honolulu, three times champions of the Pacific coast league. that we have from them is that they have a better football team than last year, so the people should be given a real treat when they see them play in Ogden on the lh of October." 1949 Schedule: Sept. 23 Mesa J.
