Envelopes in which registration forms should be mailed will be available to students at the time they obtain their registration form. Students should obtain their form's early in order to have them completed and approved, if necessary, in time to meet the August 26 deadline. Registration received by mail with a postmark later than August 26 will be returned to sender. Students should follow instructions given for completing the form. Be sure the stamp approval is obtained for all classes requiring such approval. Payment must be made by a check or money order that bears the registrant's name and student number as shown on the registration form. Amount of payment should be in the exact amount of tuition and fees for the classes requested. It should cover any costs for labs or other fees as indicated in the class schedule for the class. It should also cover any amounts for "holds" by security, library, housing, or other college offices. In the event a request for a class cannot be filled because it is closed or lacks the stamp approval of the department, the balance of the class request will be processed and a "dummy class will be included, if necessary, to complete the processing of your payment. NO REFUND WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU. You may however, through the change process, available on September 7, 8, and 9 and during the first week of classwork, September 26 through 30, register for other classes or secure a refund for money credited to you for the "dummy" class registration. There will be no charge for processing such a change if completed before September 30. Acknowledgement of your registration and receipt for money received will be mailed to your address as shown on the registration form. If address is changed or incorrect, please make the change on the form itself. If you desire your receipt mailed to only a temporary address, please indicate when submitting your registration form. Students who do not take advantage of the mail-in registration procedure, may register in person according to the following information: The in-person registration process will be conducted by appointment hours and days at the windows of the Registration office in the Administration Building. Such registration will limit the number of students allowed to enter the building during any one time-period. Unpaid parking and library fines are the most common obligations that must be cleared at the time of registering. The amount of such obligations must be paid along with the tuition and fees for classes. Students can eliminate all problems by attending to any obligation prior to registering, directly with the various offices. Such clearance should be made prior to leaving campus Spring Quarter. When registering by mail, students may include the amount of money owing in their check or money order. Some "holds," however, may be of such a nature that other arrangements must be made directly with the office placing the "hold" on the registration and will not be processed by registration until the "hold" is removed.
