Show A. GOC) UJiC'll'J:. Here is a cure for a terrible disordei of the mouth commonly called scandal. Take of good nature, one ounce, and an herb called by the Indians, ''mind your own business," one ounce; mix these with a little charity, good sense and two or three sprigs of quiet tongue. Symptoms: Itching of the tongue, lips, and roof mouth; appetite for foul smells, distorted vision which blurs truth. All the symptoms are much aggravated in the presence of the species homo gossipum, and then there is liable to breaking out at the mouth, spreading the noxious infection. Treatment: Treat-ment: When you feel a fit of it coming com-ing on, take a spoonful of the mixture, hold it on the tongue, keeping your mouth closed until you get home and you will feel much better. Repeat the dose every time you feel the slightest symptom. Ex. |
